Our policy is that patients are informed of their investigation results. If we have not contacted you with results within two weeks, please phone the practice.We are endeavoring to use EMAIL as our primary communication so please ensure we have your current email address.

When phoning for results you may contact the nurse directly by entering ‘2’ or '3'. We would prefer that non-urgent enquiries are received between 10.00 am-4.00 pm on the quieter days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. If the nurse is unavailable, please leave a message on the nurses' answerphone and they will contact you as soon as is practical. Mobile phone contact is used only in exceptional circumstances.
Blood test results are usually received in 2 - 3 days.
X-Rays and Ultrasound (non–hospital) reports are received within 24 hours. 
MRI and CT scans may take a few days.
Cervical smears may take up to three weeks for reporting.
All doctor requests for urgent results are reported on the same day. Remember you can make a follow-up appointment at any time to discuss your results.
