Dr Aileen Wong, MB ChB, Dip Paed.

Monday and Friday 9am - 5.15pm, Tues, Thurs, 9.30am - 3.45pm
Brief History:
I trained at Otago University where I graduated in 1999 also receiving the Senior Scholarship prize in medicine. In 2004 I completed my Diploma in Pediatrics (care of children). Since graduation I have practiced both in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.I have been resident in New Zealand for 15 years and speak fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
I am married with two children and in my spare time enjoy performance music and singing, and I love cooking.
Medical Philosophy:  
I believe good medicine is to look at treating an illness and the effects of the illness in a person as a whole. This involves trying to understand a patient's experience of an illness as a person rather than a disease and aiming to help and guide them through to the path of recovery.
