Brief History:
I grew up in Howick and was schooled at Macleans College. I studied Medicine at Auckland University, graduated in 2000 and completed my basic surgical training in 2006. My postgraduate work included  five years working in Hamilton and three years in Christchurch. We also spent eight months in outback Western Australia.
I am married to physiotherapist Ruth (nee Ward) and we have two sons, Benjamin (two years) and Thomas (pictured). My hobbies include family, fishing, woodwork, and church life.
