Osteopathic medicine is a gentle, safe and effective treatment suitable for all ages. Osteopathic treatment uses a range of soft tissue and manipulative techniques applied to the muscles, ligaments and joints. My approach to your achieving fast recovery is individualised, and appropriate techniques will be discussed with you.
I decided to study osteopathy after years of playing football at a competitive level. I was one of the first to complete a Bachelor of Health Science in Human Biology from UNITEC New Zealand, and then attained a Masters Degree in Osteopathy in 2007. Since becoming a registered osteopath I have helped thousands of patients, ranging from new-born babies and pregnant mothers, to elite international athletes and dedicated sports people. My passion for health care in sports continues as I am currently studying for a Masters Degree in Sports Medicine at the University of Otago.
I am happily married and enjoy going to the gym, swimming, playing squash and table tennis.
